As part of the pro-bono practice of the firm, it has a policy of filing one petition a year which is of public interest and for the benefit of the citizens of the country
Pallavaram Periyaeri - In 2012, the firm had filed an Original Application before the National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench at New Delhi with regard to saving a huge water body from dumping of garbage which now has become a bench mark case and the entire State of Tamil Nadu has evolved a system of disposal of solid wastes.
Illegal Cattle Slaughter:- In 2013, the firm had filed another Original Application before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai to prevent pollution caused by illegal slaughter of cattle across the city of Chennai and about 450 illegal slaughter houses were closed by the Chennai Corporation.
Defecation on Railway Tracks:- In 2014, the firm had filed another Original Application before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai to prevent pollution caused by open human defecation and illegally urinating in railway tracks and sought a direction against the Chennai Corporation for installation of public toilets in the City of Chennai.
MSW at Vengaivasal and Medavakkam:- In 2015, the firm had filed an Original Petition before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai to streamline Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules in Vengaivasal and Medavakkam panchayats.
Plastiic Waste Management at Aavin:- In 2016, the firm had filed an Original Petition before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai to streamline implementation of Plastic Waste Management Rules in all aavin factories.
Disposal of waste in Educations Institutions:- In 2017, the firm had filed an Original Petition before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai to streamline disposal of bio-medical and hazardous wastes disposed by Educational Institutions in the City.
Animal Welfare as subject in schools:- In 2018, the firm had filed Public Interest Litigation before the Honble Madras High Court for inclusion of animal welfare as a subject in school curriculum.
Covid Relief to Priests:- In 2020, the firm had filed a Public Interest Litigation before the Honble Madras High Court for payment of COVID relief amount to temple priests.
Ambattur Lake:- In 2020, the firm had filed an Original Petition before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai for implemnation of Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules in Ambattur Lake.
Chembarambakkam Lake:- In 2021, the firm had filed a Public Interest Litigation before the Honble Madras High Court for implementation of water management system from Chembarambakam Lake and for recharge of same to temple tanks in Chennai
MSW in Thiruvannamalai:- In 2023. the firm had filed an Original Petition before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai for implemnation of Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules at Thiruvannamalai and to prevent dumping of garbage in forest land
MSW in Thiruvaiyaru:In 2023, the firm had filed an Original Petition before the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone at Chennai for implementation of solid waste management system and for removal of garbage at Thiruvaiyaru.
